Certified to CE Level AA, the Vanguard is equipped with TetraHex™ CE Level 2 five-piece armour at the shoulders, elbows and back, providing high-level impact protection. The outer uses a durable, lightweight nylon shell without lamination, giving a flexible feel ideal for extended riding comfort.
A key feature of the Vanguard is its modular 10k/10k waterproof, breathable thermal bomber jacket, which can be layered in or removed depending on conditions — offering versatility for touring, commuting or year-round riding. Ventilation is fully adjustable with airflow openings at the chest, full sleeves and back, so temperature regulation can be tailored on the move.
The jacket includes two large internal stow pockets and one waterproof internal chest pocket, supported by a tactical pocket configuration totalling 10 pockets, offering extensive storage for essentials. Fit adjustment is managed by stud-fastened sleeve width adjusters, hook & loop waist and cuff adjustment, and an elasticated drawcord with zipper-fastened hem adjustment.
Practical riding features include a long and short zipper attachment for trousers, a neoprene-tipped collar, elasticated action-back, and reflective/fluorescent visibility elements to enhance presence in low-light conditions.
